Jessica is a Master EFT Practitioner. She sought an advanced certification to incorporate additional techniques for greater benefit to clients. Emotional Freedom Technique is a tapping sequence conducted by the practitioner or by you as you follow the practitioner’s guidance, using your fingers to tap on 10 core meridian points to restore flow to the body.

Electricity runs through the human body and our cells. EKGs test the heart’s electrical energy and EEGs, the brain’s. We need our energy to flow and when it becomes stuck or stagnant, EFT moves the energy through the meridian system’s “acupoints,” similar to yoga, tai chi, and acupuncture.

EFT is described as acupuncture using fingers. When a negative emotion is left unprocessed and remains “stuck” in the physical body, it can cause a block in the energy (or life force). Dis-EASE begins in the body’s energy. The organs and body may not function harmoniously. This can lead to physical disease affecting the body’s ability to function optimally.

The tapping sends a soothing signal to the fight/flight center and begins a desensitization process to triggers. The stress response “loop” is broken, causing something similar to what happens during REM sleep, when stress chemicals decrease so that helpful processing can be achieved. As the EFT session takes place, the client focuses on the presenting issue, facing the concern head on, while accepting exactly who they are. The client is now able to process through the issue and attach new associations should the client choose. Healthier responses of how the client wishes to feel instead can also be tapped in.

During EFT, Jessica incorporates the Heart-Space, Choice Method (empowering the client through self-directed choices) and the 9-Gamut Procedure for full mind-body integration.

It is recommended that you work with a Certified EFT Practitioner as “aspects” can come up that point to an unexpected root of a problem. Some clients may find they have not been able to move forward regardless of the self-improvement work they have done. This could be due to a polarity reversal or secondary benefit syndrome. Having a professional who is well versed in advanced EFT guide you through what may come up is beneficial.

I loved the EFT session Jessica led as part of the 2021 Thrive Lead & Succeed Academy. I learned a new concept of “psychological capital” and how to channel my inner HERO and come to my own rescue using my inner resources and changing thought patterns. After the session, I felt lighter and like the residual stress and heaviness from a long day of meetings had shifted!! Highly recommended!!! ❤

What makes hypnotherapy different?

With the overwhelm of life, it is challenging to focus on self care. Your conscious mind is thinking “things have got to change” but the part of you that is in survival mode, simply “doing” keeps you on auto-pilot living out the same life with the same thinking and the same behaviors. That is why the change has not taken place.

Studies show that people learn best when they are calm, relaxed, and in a positive frame of mind. In a session, your mind is alert while your body is relaxed. The focus is not on rehashing the hurts, but on moving you forward by plugging you into the best version of yourself.

What is Hypnotherapy?

  • a combination of cognitive and behavioral approaches

  • with the power of personalized positive suggestions

  • using relaxation techniques to lower stress/anxiety

  • creating a calm and focused state of awareness

  • mentally rehearsing movement forward

  • for goal achievement and optimal well-being

When does Hypnotherapy work?

The timing of when your change takes place depends on your level of motivation. You are able to hear and respond to everything during the session and will never be compelled to do or say anything that is not in line with your personal, spiritual, or ethical standards. Hypnotherapy is a participatory process between the therapist and the client.

Where do sessions take place?

Hypnotherapy is effective in person, on the phone, and via SKYPE/Zoom. Be sure to have a reclined chair or a similarly comfortable set-up with head and leg support.

Why Hypnotherapy?

If you are ready to take tangible steps to make the life change you want, then hypnotherapy can help you. The focus is on improving the present and future life you wish to live.

How does Hypnotherapy work?

The conscious mind uses logic, reason, analytical skills, decision-making, and will-power to arrive at a goal. The subconscious mind is where memories, emotions, and your belief system reside. When you find it challenging to move forward, it is because the old ways of the subconscious wins out. This is your life script formed from your experiences. We work together so that you are no longer led by emotionally driven choices that cause you to react, but by your ability to be in control of your thoughts so that you can respond.
