Do you have a mentor you have never met? For me that is Albert Einstein. Perhaps you can relate to his experience. He was not the norm. His thinking was not widely accepted. How he processed through his imagination was unconventional. He was rejected by his peers as a pseudo scientist. Einstein marched to his own drum and thank goodness for that! In 1915, he disproved what scientists believed to be true since 1687 – and it all came from exploring through his imagination what is possible and had not yet been discovered.

A few great quotes from Albert Einstein, Theoretical Physicist:

“Stay away from negative people. They have a problem for every solution.”

“Strive not to be a success, but rather to be of value.”

“Imagination is more important than knowledge. For while knowledge defines all we currently know and understand, imagination points to all we might yet discover and create.”

In this video, I break down how Einstein does this! Imagine if you incorporated some of these practices in “exploratory” meetings within your organization, what would your collective minds discover? Be daring to be different as Einstein was and not the norm. This will change how you think so that you tap into the full capabilities of your mental prowess.
